Now in its sixth year, the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band returns to perform during halftime of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band features 125 of the finest high school senior marching musicians and color guard members from across the country.

The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band recognizes the Nation's leading high school band members. These young men and women demonstrate the U.S. Army core values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honesty, Integrity and Personal Courage in their everyday lives. Like the U.S. Army All-American football players, the national selection of All-American band members is based on a broad range of attributes that go beyond performance and include qualities such as academic achievement, leadership abilities and community service.

Christana has been performing since she was five years old and will be entering her fifth year of fall guard and sixth year of winterguard. She was on the Buford High School Color Guard Leadership Team her freshmen and sophomore year before becoming captain her junior and senior year. In the 2012 fall guard season, Christana helped her guard director by choreographing the rifle section for the guard as well as taking a leadership role to get the team ready for competition. The guard won first in their division for the seventh consecutive year and first overall for the first time ever in Buford High School. When Christana was a sophomore, she became a part of the inaugural cast of The Edge Independent in the 2011-2012 winter guard season where they placed 13th in the world (WGI) and was also on The Edge this past 2012-2013 winter guard season where they placed 19th. Aside from guard, Christana has been performing with the Buford High School Musical Theatre department since her freshmen year and is the dance captain for Musical Theatre. Her dance background includes ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern and contemporary. She has also been practicing baton and figure skating since a young age. Academically, Christana has excelled by taking AP and honor classes since her freshman year.
