Now in its sixth year, the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band returns to perform during halftime of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band features 125 of the finest high school senior marching musicians and color guard members from across the country.

The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band recognizes the Nation's leading high school band members. These young men and women demonstrate the U.S. Army core values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honesty, Integrity and Personal Courage in their everyday lives. Like the U.S. Army All-American football players, the national selection of All-American band members is based on a broad range of attributes that go beyond performance and include qualities such as academic achievement, leadership abilities and community service.

Jonesboro High School | Jonesboro, AR

Austin Lynn has been a member of the Jonesboro Public Schools Band Program for the past six years, serving as trombone section leader and Band Manager. Austin also helps as a Sound Engineer and Technician for the JHS Marching Band. He has received recognition for outstanding achievement within the program, earning the Outstanding Beginning Brass Award. While in the ninth grade, Austin was awarded both the Directors Award and Phi Beta Outstanding Musician Award. In 2012, he was named the Outstanding Sophomore Band Member and was honored with a JHS Band Service Award and this year went on to receive Outstanding Junior in the JHS Band and the JHS Band Service Award for a second time. The highlight of his year was being named first Chair in the All-State Wind Symphony. He also earned a position in the All-State Jazz Band. On the Region level, Austin was named first Chair in the All-Region Band and also earned a position in the first Region All-Region Jazz Band. He recently earned First Division Superior Ratings at the Region Solo-Ensemble Festival. He also serves as the Assistant Technical Director for Jonesboro First Methodist Church.
