Now in its sixth year, the U.S. Army All-American Marching Band returns to perform during halftime of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band features 125 of the finest high school senior marching musicians and color guard members from across the country.

The U.S. Army All-American Marching Band recognizes the Nation's leading high school band members. These young men and women demonstrate the U.S. Army core values of Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honesty, Integrity and Personal Courage in their everyday lives. Like the U.S. Army All-American football players, the national selection of All-American band members is based on a broad range of attributes that go beyond performance and include qualities such as academic achievement, leadership abilities and community service.

Aislinn Walters has been the alto sax section leader of the Hays High band since freshman year. She is consistently placed in all district & state honors bands and earned “I - Outstanding” ratings in all district & state solo competitions every year since middle school. She earned 1st chair alto sax in 2013 and was a featured soprano sax soloist in the 2012 state concert bands. Since her freshman year in high school she has auditioned for and earned chairs in several Fort Hays State University ensembles. As a senior, Aislinn holds several leadership positions including Drum Major of the Hays High marching band, Editor-in-Chief of the school newspaper and membership on the school's Leadership Team, where she provides orientation and mentoring services to freshmen. She also serves as teaching assistant in a music course for special-needs students.
