U.S. ARMY ALL-AMERICAN BOWL ALUMNI

Since 2001, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl has showcased the nation’s premier high school football talent. The level of play in these games has demanded the absolute highest levels of mental, emotional and physical strengths for those participating. The expansive and continually growing list of prominent alumni featured in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl’s history stands as proof of this strength and the extraordinary level of competition. Some of the most notable All-American alumni include: 2007 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Adrian Peterson, Mark Sanchez, 2010 Defensive Rookie of the Year Ndamukong Suh, Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, Andrew Luck, and Marcus Lattimore among many more.

Currently, there are more than 100 U.S. Army All-Americans playing in the NFL. During the 2011 NFL Draft, 28 U.S. Army All-Americans were selected, including five first round selections. An incredible total of 65 U.S. Army All-Americans have been selected in the past two NFL Drafts. More and more U.S. Army All-Americans enter the NFL each season as the Army All-American Bowl continues to produce some of the game’s brightest stars on its biggest stage.

Oaks Christian High School | CA

- Clausen had an unbelievable high school career, going 42-0 as a starter and leading Oaks Christian to four consecutive CIF Southern Section Championships. As a senior, he was named the USA Today Player of the Year after throwing for 3,428 yards and 49 touchdowns with only six interceptions. He was also named a Parade First-Team All-American.

College: University of Notre Dame

- The nation’s top quarterback prospect upon his arrival in South Bend, Clausen seized the starting role early in his freshman year. Clausen would later elect to forego his senior season following a junior campaign in which he posted the nation’s third-highest quarterback rating, throwing for 3,722 yards and 28 touchdowns against just four interceptions. Clausen’s career marks of 60 touchdowns and 8,148 passing yards rank second in school history behind fellow USAAB alum Brady Quinn.

NFL: Carolina Panthers, Selected in the 2010 NFL Draft, 2nd Round, 48th Overall

- Clausen endured a typical up-and-down rookie season in Carolina, but gained valuable playing time, starting ten games. He goes into 2011 looking to take a big step forward.
