Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a world class leadership development program taught by Army professionals at colleges and universities across the United States. Programs are available in every state, as well as in Guam and Puerto Rico. Cadets have the traditional college experience while also training to be a leader. By participating in a combination of classroom instruction, leadership labs, physical training and field training exercises, ROTC Cadets gain the leadership skills needed to be successful Army Officers.
After completing degree requirements and Army ROTC requirements, Cadets are commissioned and receive the gold bars of a Second Lieutenant. They will serve in the Active Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard and continue to hone their leadership skills while serving our nation.
