The two man teams go up against multiple challenges ranging from mountaineering to expedient demolition.

2010 Best Sapper Competition. Now 291/2 hours into this 52-hour event the teams are gearing up for Sapper Stakes. The two-man teams go up against seven challenges and navigate more than nine- before nightfall. Similar to yesterdays round robin phase, teams need to work together if they want to get ahead in the points.
Teamwork: SOTs
Teamwork is definitely helping out because we're making up for each other deficiencies.
Today's challenges will push the teams in events like mountaineering, expedient demolition and breeching Military Operations in Urban Terrain sites, otherwise known as MOUT sites.
Capt. Lewellyn: SOT #1
The competition is meant to make competitors think and endure, from calculating explosives to moving a long distance with a heavy ruck on their back. It shows the regiment and the Army who the best sapper going to be.
With Sapper Stakes nearing completion teams are marching on ready to hit the next challenge.
