Bryce McNeal Part 4
Bryce McNeal talks about practice and other activities leading up to the big game and staying focused.
BRYCE MCNEAL: Today we really just got practice, no helmets, no pads, later on I'm trying to go over and watch the Combines, I've got a little cousin, a running back from my school is actually participating in it, and there's a couple of other kids from Minnesota, so I want to go support them.
BRYCE MCNEAL: Really I just try to remember why I'm here, you know, try not to get distracted by all the things going on around me, and make sure I keep focused on the task at hand.
BRYCE MCNEAL: Just make sure I get the plays down, the hand signals, everything, just make sure I'm mentally prepared, make sure I have everything in my head and I'm focused and I make sure I take honor to the blessing that makes me capable of being here.
BRYCE MCNEAL: Right about now just finishing up practicing, we just did a lot of activities, wrapping up the week, got about less than 24 hours to game day, I would say my favorite part about it was meeting my Soldier hero and, probably, the skills competition because it's something you can't do at home, you need a lot of people to do.
BRYCE MCNEAL; So now I'm going to go home, back to the hotel, relax, lay in bed, and go over my plays in my head, talk to my mom and dad, my family's here, greet everybody and get ready for the game day.
