We need somebody to step up and take the lead. In our country today less than one percent of our population wears nations uniform. The Army Officer is one of the last few noble professions. The ones that want the experience of being in the military but also the civilian college lifestyle.
I have had more experience here than I have had in two years of nursing school. The same characteristics that make a great football teammate are the same for what will make a great Army Officer.
Being pushed and being pulled you just have to go through it, you have to experience it. I have become a more confident person. We setup our Lieutenants to succeed. These students are not just graduating.
I am going to be an Officer, I am going to be the future. You have to be respectful in front of your peers if you want them to respect you. It was the best decision of my life. Being a college student there is no better way to become that young leader of our Army and of our future, of America's future than through going through the Army ROTC.
