PV2 Salas’ mother knew the Army would teach her son the discipline, focus, and teamwork skills he’d need.

This is my second child going into the Military. And I think the discipline that the Military offers. You know, being focused, being part of a team. I mean, those are skills you need wherever you go. And then add to it, you know like Erik said, to explore the world. So all those experiences and those, you know, that skill of being focused, loyalty – I mean those are qualities you want to see in everybody. So I think it will really, you know, just add to enhance the skills and talents he already has.
