2013 Football Day 1 - US Army All-American Bowl
Here we go, we’re going to start marching, then skip, then move to the end zone, move to the end zone, march in place, go.
Its fun, just coming out here, getting all the rust off, competing and its been a good time.
First practice it was kind of rough, Second practice we tried to adjust some things. Before we came back out, we went to the board. Just going over things and coming down here to the last practice today. I think the defense really came together.
Being here so far is more than what I expected, it brings a lot of discipline to you. It levels you in a way that you used to be the best player in your state area. A nice experience, just like, like tasting something new.
A person that can give their time back to Soldiers or anybody that we can relate to because you never know what those guys go through. Especially infantryman, they're in the fight.
So for them to come back and visit people like us, that look like kids to look up to them because they're like what we're doing.
We're so Soldiers on the field they're Soldiers in real life; they protect us while we protect our team.
Nice job defense this afternoon, nice job defense, I told you, you had to things corrected, you got that corrected. I love your aggressiveness, go get em', go get em.'
They said it was for NBC, they're going to have a little 30-second commercial. They kind of just wanted to get our opinions, the things that we did when we went to D.C., for the player of the year tour.
It's a blessing. A lot of people may think that we're just down here to have fun and its just a free trip but for a lot of us it's a much more, meaningful, meaningful trip.
