Lache Seastrunk talks about his experience at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Today was our last day of preparation. Just working out the kinks, trying to get ready for the Army game. It was very, very cold outside today. But we're working to get - we're just trying to strive to get the win for our coach.
Coming to the last bit of tonight, it was an awards banquet for all the players. I'm proud at each - both teams that had award finalists on each team.
Soldiers of the year, I'm very, very proud of them... Cause they make it safe for us to walk around and be safe everywhere we go. I thank them so much. I'm very, very proud of them, cause without them we wouldn't have the US Army All American game.
This evening was great. The Rotary Club of San Antonio put on a great show. Great dinner for us. Good food. A lot of entertainment. Some good guest speakers. Some awards were presented. And I think these student athletes are just ready to go out tomorrow and show why they were brought to this great city of San Antonio. We're all united in any kind of team, whether it be athletes, whether it be band, whether it be military. We're out here to just show our talents, and to honor why we're out here. Respecting the people that love the sport, with the fans, the parents... everybody involved.
Lache, tomorrow, we're all gonna be rooting for you, okay? And throughout your whole career, whether it be one year, four years, the next twenty years, just be true to yourself, and that's all you need to do
And I would like to say that even though I a'int known you for that long, I want to say thank you, so much, for your kindness, and I love you so much. Thank you for everything.
Thank you, Lache. Take care.
