2013 Band Day 1 - US Army All-American Bowl
T. Andre Feagin:
Friends how we doing this morning?
That’s what we’re talking about. We’re going to be talking all week about a collaborative effort. 24-hours ago we didn’t know each other. 24-hours ago this group didn’t exist, and 48-hours from now you're be the most rocking marching band in the United States.
That is really something to really look forward too. Your individual efforts that will lead us to that destination are key. So every rep as you ever heard in your life is an opportunity for you to be taken yourself to the next level.
And so you have to do, we collectible have to do, seven months of work in 22 hours. And are you up to that challenge?
Everyone serious about it, everyone knows what they're doing. It's clean as a whistle right off the bat, its fun. I'm expecting us to work hard; perfecting the drills is going to be the hardest part I think. Just getting it all down, get some of the visuals in, get a Hooah.
It's a lot more intense. It's very individualized. The instruction is very specific to the person.
All the Army Values that they already taught us in a day, like diligence, and perseverance and take it back to my high school community for the rest of the school year and then into college and for the rest of my life.
Because I'll always know that I have this week and I'll always be an All-American.
