Field Artillery

The Howitzer artillery gun team is discussed by Soldiers who actually perform this highly specialized job, each with their playing their own role in completing a given misison.

Everybody in the Army likes to brag about their weapon, but our guns are so big we don't have to brag. You're not going to find any brothers more close than in Field Artillery. These guys, right here, drive me crazy, but these are some of the best friends, these are family. We're all working; it's a team effort.
Everybody has their own individual job, like a football team. Caps is in charge of getting us on field and putting us into position. Sergeant Smith is in charge of putting the bullets together. I'm in charge of sighting in on the target. Specialist Miller over here is the guy who makes the gun go "boom" and Coach is the one that motivates us all to do our job in his own special way.
Talk about an adrenaline rush, that's it right there. Steel on steel, three sweetest words you can hear, period. That's our steel hitting the enemy's steel.
