The Army Medical Service Corps is the most diverse and integral part of the Army Health Care Team; its Officers have been essential members of the Army medical support team for combat operations in Korea, Kosovo, Somalia, Panama and Iraq.
As a member of the Army Medical Service Corps, you'll have the chance to develop your leadership skills while pursuing a career in one of the most diverse branches of the Army. You could be involved in direct patient care in a hospital setting, administrative work at a staff headquarters or practicing your specialty in a field environment in the U.S. or overseas.
Whatever your specialty in the Medical Service Corps, you can choose to serve full time as an Officer on Active Duty or maintain your private practice and serve part time in the Army Reserve. Both have their unique rewards.
