This school's motto: 'Armament for Peace.' OMEMS’s mission is to produce highly trained, self-disciplined, physically fit Soldiers trained in the highly sought-after skills of explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), electronics and missile maintenance, and ammunition management—who can make an immediate impact on the front line of the fight against terrorism. These are challenging fields that require smart, motivated young men and women who want to make a positive difference against the Global War on Terrorism today and prepare themselves for a successful civilian career tomorrow. Depending on the career field you choose, you will complete civilian-accredited, college-level curriculums and gain hands-on experience in areas such as: disarming explosive devices with remote-controlled robots; repairing the electronic systems of multimillion dollar RADAR and missile systems; and transporting high explosive munitions.
