KEEPING THE ARMY STRONG

Maintaining the strength of our forces in the Army is an extremely important role. Army Recruiters are always ready to help potential recruits and current Soldiers with issues about joining — and re-joining — the Army and where they might fit best within the force structure.

Attending the Army's Recruiting and Retention School, you will learn the skills needed to make you a qualified Army Career Counselor.

Your courses will focus on the following topics:

  • Basic Recruiting
  • Guidance Counseling
  • Career Counseling
  • Reserve Components Transitioning
  • Advanced NCO Training
  • Mobile Retention Training

Your training will involve practical exercise scenarios to measure your abilities gained through experience — this will include instruction, discussion and application. This training is a progressive, performance-oriented, real-world program of instruction designed to meet the career counseling needs for the U.S. Army.
